I shared on my Instagram back in May that I went to my town’s annual used book sale and stocked up on a ton of books! It’s my favorite time of year, to be honest. They sell old paperbacks for 50 cents and old hardcovers for $1. Some of the newer fiction is more expensive but it’s never more than a few dollars per book.

It’s a book lover’s dream!

Anyway, I wanted to share an in depth look at the books that I picked up because it’s always fun to look at pictures of book hauls and discuss why we want to read the books that we want to read.

So let’s get started.

The way I see it I shopped in 3 different categories: Middle Grade/YA, Newer Fiction, and Romance Fiction.

Middle Grade/Young Adult

The real kicker is that all these books are in very good condition and I only spent $29.36. You can’t beat that! Some of these books are by authors I know I love and others I picked up on a whim because the cover or the plot intrigued me.

What are you reading this Summer? Do you have any books that you are just SO excited to dive into while at the pool or on vacation? Let me know in the comments because while I certainly have enough to read for a while, you can never have too many books on your TBR list. Haha
